Expectations can be such an ass.
People expect you to be like this, like that, do this, do that. And when you don’t, they start off commenting on you. Usually what I do is just to see what constructive things I can get out of them, and usually I’ll be fine, thus I do not usually post on such things. But the thing is, sometimes it does hurt.
I agree that I’m at fault at some things and there are things to improve on and I’m glad that they point those out. It’s just that I can’t help but be upset at some of the comments. Do you know what I’m going through? Do you know what are the things I have to take into consideration? Do you know the kind of difficulties I face? Maybe you do, maybe you don’t. And then you start commenting on things that you don’t know. Is that responsible?
These kind of things probably will never go away. Seems like I can only learn from this and move on.
